Any contractor registered in accordance with the provisions of this chapter may apply for and receive from the City Building Inspector a permit to display one advertising sign upon premises upon which such contractor is performing work of the type described in Section 751.01. The sign authorized herein may be displayed during the period while the contractor displaying it is actually working upon the subject premises and for ten days after the completion of the work of the contractor. The fee charged for the issuance of a permit under this section shall be as provided in Section 1337.01(g)(4). No more than one sign shall be permitted for display upon a single property.
