The City Building Inspector shall issue a renewal certificate of registration to any contractor who has been issued an original certificate of registration, has updated his original application by making any changes that have occurred in the information contained on his original application, offers evidence of continuing liability coverage in the same amounts and forms as are required for issuance of an original certificate of registration, has offered evidence that the bond required continues to be in full force and effect, has tendered payment for the renewal certificate of registration fee and where the contractor's record of work in the City does not show repeated violations of the City Building Code, this to be determined by the Building Inspector.
