(a) A Director of Recreation shall be appointed by the Mayor, and such appointment shall be confirmed by a majority vote of the members of Council. The Director shall serve for a term of two years. The Director shall be compensated as provided by Council from time to time.
(b) The Director shall respond to the inquiry of Council regarding the services of his or her Department and such matters that would come within his or her Department's responsibilities.
