Whenever the Director of Finance, as fiscal officer of the City, deems that there are on hand funds of the Municipality which will not be required to be used by the Municipality for a six-month period or more, the Director is hereby authorized to invest funds in such obligations or investments as authorized by the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.56. Such investment shall be made in the manner and under the conditions stated in Ohio R.C. 731.57 et seq. and shall comply with the provisions and requirements of such sections.
