111.02 REPRESENTATION BY DEPARTMENT OF LAW; OTHER COUNSEL.
   Subject to the conditions set forth in this chapter, the public officials or employees referred to in Section 111.01 are entitled to be represented by the Department of Law. If it is determined that a conflict of interest exists in the representation of the public official or employee by such Department, then the public official or employee is entitled to be represented by counsel of his or her choice, provided that such counsel is approved by Council and is employed at a rate comparable to the rate of compensation paid to the Director of Law for similar or equivalent work.
