SECTION 9.6. LEVY OF TAXES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS.
   The Council of the Municipality may levy an additional tax for the benefit of the City of Willowick for the purpose of providing funds to pay costs of improving streets by widening, grading, draining, curbing, paving, relocating, resurfacing and making other improvements, as designated in the plans approved or to be approved by Council, including the acquisition of any necessary real estate and interests therein, and principal and interest on all bonds and notes of the municipality heretofore or hereafter issued without a vote of the electors for any of those purposes and the expenses incident to the payment of such bonds and notes at a rate not exceeding three mills for each one dollar of valuation which amounts to thirty cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for ten years commencing in 2007, first due in calendar year 2008.
