Full-time employees of the City shall be awarded longevity payments for each year of full-time service commencing on the fourth anniversary date of full-time service. At that time, the employee shall become entitled to a sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), which shall be divided by the number of pay periods in the coming year and shall be included with the employee's regular paycheck. Employees with more than four (4) years of full-time service shall be entitled to an additional increase each year as specified in the longevity schedule. Longevity payments for full-time employees hired to full-time status on or before December 31, 1995, shall continue to be awarded on the employee's successive anniversary dates according to the following schedule:

Any employee currently receiving longevity compensation in excess of this schedule will continue to receive present dollar amount until such time as the above schedule permits further increase. (Ord. 2021-015. Passed 9-23-21.)
