(a) In the event the owner, occupant, other person or entity required to repair the sidewalk or apron, as required in Section 903.08, has failed to comply with the notice within sixty (60) days of the date the Notice is served, the Director of Public Service may cause the repairs to be made by a contractor registered to work in the City.
(b) Upon the completion of the required repairs, the Director of Public Service shall notify the owner, occupant, other person or entity of the actual cost for the repairs incurred by the City and demand payment within thirty (30) days of notification.
(c) If the owner, occupant, other person or entity has not made payment within thirty (30) days, the Finance Director shall certify such costs to the Auditor of Lake County with the request that such amount be entered upon the tax duplicate and become a lien upon such lands, from and after the date of the entry, and be collected as other taxes and returned to the City according to law.
