129.06 SUSPENSION AND REMOVAL.
   For insubordination, malfeasance, misfeasance, nonfeasance or violation of any of the rules and regulations prescribed by the Director of Public Safety as provided in Section 129.05, or for any other cause for removal and discipline under the laws of the State, the Chief of Police may suspend from office any member of the Division of Police for such period of time as he deems warranted, or he may take any action authorized by Ohio R.C. 124.34. In the event of suspension or removal the member of the Division so suspended shall not be entitled to draw compensation for the period of suspension. The procedure to be followed in the matter of suspension or removal shall be that prescribed in Ohio R.C. 124.34. Suspension of the Chief for any of the above stated causes may be ordered only by the Director of Public Safety, for such period of time as the Director deems warranted.
