The Director of Public Safety shall prescribe rules and regulations for the operation of the Division of Police and the conduct of the members thereof. Upon the same being reduced to writing and delivered personally to the members thereof, or posting the same in the office of the Division, each member of the Division shall be subject to the same, and any violation thereof shall be cause for suspension or discipline.
