(A) Any person who violates any of the provisions of § 72.02 shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine in an amount not to exceed $500 for each offense, and each and every day any such violation shall continue shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense.
(B) Notwithstanding the above penalty, the City Police Department may issue a citation for obstructing a public alley in the city under Tex. Trans. Code, § 545.302(a)(9), if an official city “No Parking” sign has been posted prohibiting parking in the public alley.
(C) The misdemeanor penalties of not less than $500 and higher as provided in Tex. Trans. Code § 681.011 (g) - (k) shall apply to § 72.03.
