Except as provided herein, the provisions of this subchapter shall apply to all signs within the corporate limits of the city and all off-premises signs, as that term is defined in § 150.03, within the corporate limits of the city, and within the area of extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city as defined by Tex. Loc. Gov't Code, Ch. 42, as the same may be hereafter amended.
