For supply contracts or service contracts, the County Executive or responsible elected official, shall determine whether insurance coverage by the contractor shall be required, and, if so, the types and amounts of coverage that shall be required. The contractor shall have the county named as an additional insured as its interest may appear and furnish the County Executive with satisfactory evidence of insurance.
