(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to place on any street, public place or public or private premises in the town any animal or fowl carcass or part thereof.
(B) Property owners shall be responsible for the prompt, sanitary and lawful disposal of animal and fowl carcasses found upon their property, and carcasses which remain on private property for 8 hours after notice to the property owner or occupant to so dispose of any carcass may be removed by the town at the expense of the property owner, the expense to be collected in the same manner as property taxes. Any notice pursuant to this section which cannot be given personally may be served by posting a copy thereof in a conspicuous place on the property whereon the carcass is found.
(C) Animal and fowl carcasses found upon the streets or other public places shall be taken up by the office or department of the town designated by the Mayor and shall be disposed of in a sanitary and lawful manner.
