305.02 NOTICE OF ACTION TO COUNCIL SAFETY COMMITTEE; CONSENT.

   The Director of Public Safety shall announce his intention to act pursuant to and under the authority granted by Section 305.01 by notifying each member of the Safety Committee of Council in writing delivered at his usual place of residence and by filing a copy in the office of the Clerk of Council. Such action shall become effective at the date set forth in such notice unless the Safety Committee of Council or Council, by appropriate action, shall otherwise designate, and shall be effective for a period of ninety days. Such action by the Director of Public Safety shall be deemed consented to by the Safety Committee of Council unless the Committee shall notify the Director in writing within seven days of receipt of notice that it does not consent to such action.
