304.10 POWER TO ESTABLISH POUNDS.
   The Director of Public Safety is authorized to establish an automobile and vehicle pound with any owner or lessee of a suitable lot who possesses a vehicle suitable for towing vehicles so impounded.
   If the Director of Public Safety finds there is insufficient space for the storage of such vehicles in the City automobile and vehicle pound, he may authorize such person to take such vehicle to private storage where it shall be impounded and stored, held and disposed of at no expense to the City, in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and Ohio R.C. 4513.60 to 4513.64, provided that costs of removal of such vehicle by private storage operator shall be considered a part of the expense referred to in the aforementioned chapters and when collected shall be refunded to the persons entitled thereto. Such designation hereunder of the place of storage by the Director shall be deemed to be a designation under Ohio R.C. 4513.60 and 4513.61. (Ord. 19-75. Passed 7-1-75.)
