301.21 MOTORCYCLE AND MOTORIZED BICYCLE.
(a) "Motorcycle" means every motor vehicle, other than a tractor, having a seat or saddle for the use of the operator and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground, including but not limited to, motor vehicles known as "motor-driven cycle," "motor scooter", “cab-enclosed motorcycle” or "motorcycle" without regard to weight or brake horsepower. (b) "Motorized bicycle" means any vehicle having either two tandem wheels or one wheel in front and two wheels in the rear, that is capable of being pedaled and is equipped with a helper motor of not more than fifty cubic centimeters piston displacement which produces no more than one brake horsepower and is capable of propelling the vehicle at a speed of no greater than twenty miles per hour on a level surface.
