161.19 LEAVE OF ABSENCE.

(a) A leave of absence may be granted up to sixty calendar days without pay by an appointing authority upon written request of an employee under his jurisdiction.

(b) In the event of a leave of absence, the employee will return to his duty on the designated day, or he shall forfeit his employment, sick leave and vacation leave rights.
