155.01 PURCHASING DEPARTMENT CREATED.

   There is hereby established in the office of the Mayor a Purchasing Department which shall co-ordinate and supervise the purchase of supplies and materials for the various offices and departments of the City. The Mayor is hereby authorized to appoint such person as he deems best to be in charge of the Purchasing Department, such person to serve without compensation.
