145.03 CASH FUND FOR SERVICE DIRECTOR.

(a) To provide for a petty cash fund for the purposes of making change for contractors and home owners who are obtaining permits and licenses from the Building Division and Service Department, the City Auditor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant on the City Treasurer in the amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00). Such two hundred dollars ($200.00) shall be paid from the General Fund and placed in the custody and safekeeping of the Service Director.

(b) The petty cash fund shall never be used for any purpose other than that described in subsection (a) hereof, and upon demand of the City Treasurer, the Service Department shall produce the two hundred dollars ($200.00) for his inspection and audit.
