141.02 RECORDS CLERK.
   (a)    There is hereby created the position of Records Clerk for the Police Department. The Records Clerk shall be appointed by the Director of Public Safety and the position shall be in the classified civil service, subject to a six-month probationary period.
   (b)    The Records Clerk shall be under the supervision of the Police Chief and shall have the duty of keeping all files and records of the Police Department and shall assist police officers in preparing and filing records and reports required by the Director of Public Safety and the Police Chief.
