SECTION 1. NAME, BOUNDARIES, AND POWERS.

   The municipal corporation now existing as the City of Whitehall shall continue to be a body politic and corporate under the same name and with the same boundaries as now exist. The Municipality shall have power and authority in the manner authorized by the laws of the State of Ohio. The City of Whitehall shall have all powers now or hereafter granted to municipalities by the Constitution and laws of Ohio. All powers shall be exercised in the manner prescribed by this Charter, or if not prescribed herein, then in such manner as shall be provided by ordinance or resolution of Council, or in such manner as may be prescribed by the laws of Ohio. No enumeration of specific powers in this Charter shall be held to be exclusive.
