1303.05 AIR CONDITIONING, REFRIGERATION, HEATING AND VENTILATION PERMIT REQUIRED; FEES.
(a) Fees for Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Permit. The permit fee for each new air conditioning/ refrigeration for residential systems shall be thirty dollars ($30.00). The permit fee for each new air conditioning/ refrigeration for all other systems shall be forty dollars ($40.00). A twenty dollar ($20.00) service fee shall be charged on each permit. Multiple inspection fees may apply.
(b) Fees for Heating Permits; Warm Air. The permit fee for each gravity hot air furnace or winter air conditioning including central heating plant, conversion burner, direct-fired unit heaters, space heaters and floor furnace for residential shall be thirty five dollars ($35.00) plus two dollars ($2.00) per outlet. The permit fee for each gravity hot air furnace or winter air conditioning including central heating plant, conversion burner, direct-fired unit heaters, space heaters and floor furnace for all others shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) plus two dollars ($2.00) per outlet. A twenty-five dollar ($25.00) service fee shall be charged on each permit. Multiple inspection fees may apply.
(c) Fees for Steam or Boiler Heating Permits.
(1) For new or replacement installations, fifty dollars ($50.00) for each boiler or heating unit, plus five dollars ($5.00) for each radiator, unit heater or 300 square feet of radiant panel.
(2) For swimming pool water heating, a fee of five dollars ($5.00) shall be charged for each 300 square feet of surface area or fraction thereof. The minimum fee shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00).
(d) Fees for Ventilating Permits. For new or replacement installations, a fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00) shall be charged for each boiler or fan plus five dollars ($5.00) for each air outlet or inlet.
(e) A twenty five dollar ($25.00) service fee shall be charged on each permit. Multiple inspection fees may apply. (Ord. 011-2014. Passed 4-1-14.)
