145.09 CHIEF BUILDING OFFICIAL (FULL-TIME).

(a) There is hereby created the position of Chief Building Official (full-time), which shall serve as the head of the Building Division within the Department of Public Service.

(b) The position of Chief Building Official (full-time) shall be in the unclassified service of the City, which shall be a full-time position under the direction of the Service Director.

(c) The Service Director shall define the duties performed and skills and education for position by submitting and obtaining concurrence from Council of the job description, which is submitted by reference with this section.

(d) The position shall be in the exempt service and paid in a salary range established by this Council.
