377.05 LICENSE PLATE ISSUANCE, ATTACHMENT AND REMOVAL.
   (a)   The Police Chief or his agent upon issuing a bicycle license shall also issue a license plate bearing the license number assigned to the bicycle, the name of the City and the period for which issued.
   (b)    The license plate shall be firmly attached to the rear mud guard or frame of the bicycle for which issued in such a position as to be plainly visible.
   (c)    No person shall remove a license plate from a bicycle during the period for which issued, except upon a transfer of ownership or in the event the bicycle is dismantled and no longer operated. In such event, the licensee shall remove the license plate and shall surrender it to the Police Chief.

   (d)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
