1504.03 FAILURE TO CORRECT VIOLATIONS; COMPLY WITH FIRE SAFETY ORDER.
   (a)    No responsible person shall fail to correct any violation or comply with any fire safety order issued by a Fire Official within the specified time or as finally affirmed or modified pursuant to Section 1504.90, or by the imposition of any penalty.
   (b)    The Fire Chief, Fire Prevention Officer or any certified Fire Safety Inspector shall request a Goldman hearing with the State of Ohio Board of Building Appeals charging a violation of subsection (a) hereof against any person who fails to correct a violation or comply with a fire safety order within the specified time or as finally affirmed or modified pursuant to Section 1504.90 .
   (c)    If any responsible person fails to comply with a fire safety order within the specified time or as finally affirmed or modified pursuant to subsection (b) hereof or Section 1504.90(c), then the Fire Official may cause the building or premises to be repaired, torn down, demolished and materials to be removed and all dangerous conditions remedied, if such was the mandate of the order at the expense of the owner. If such person within thirty days thereafter fails, neglects or refuses to repay the City the expense thereby incurred by them, the Fire Official shall cause such expense, together with a twenty-five percent (25%) penalty thereon to be certified to the Franklin County Auditor and the Auditor shall enter such expense on the tax duplicate of the County as a special charge against the real estate on which such building is or was situated and the same shall be collected as other taxes.
