931.05 ANIMALS RUNNING IN PARK.

Animals, unless accompanied by their owner and held in control on a leash, shall not be allowed in any park. Any animal found running at large in the limits of any park may be impounded. Dogs are permitted to be off leash only within the fenced perimeters of a park specifically designated by the City Parks and Recreation Department for the primary purpose of allowing dogs to engage in recreational and training activities. The owner of dogs and cats shall be reponsible for the removal and proper disposal of any droppings left by said animal. Owners of animals damaging or destroying City property will be held liable for the full value of the property damaged or destroyed in addition to the penalties prescribed in this chapter.
