913.20 GARBAGE AND OFFAL.
   No person shall place or deposit or permit to be placed or deposited any garbage, waste or peelings of vegetables or fruits, rubbish, ashes, cans, bottles, wire, paper, cartons, boxes, parts of automobiles, furniture, glass, oil or offal or other putrescible refuse of vegetable, animal, fish or fowl origin or anything else of an unsightly, unsanitary or combustible nature in any street, alley, road, open excavation, abandoned well or cistern, ditch, stream or body of water, or on the surface of the ground, or in any other manner deemed improper by the Department of Health.
   Unless disposed of immediately after production, in a sanitary manner, or as provided by law, such wastes shall be stored in watertight containers with tight fitting lids and upon removal from such containers shall be properly disposed of in a manner as to avoid the creation of a nuisance, or the pollution of a water supply.
