903.07 PERMIT REQUIRED FOR SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION; FEE.
   No person, property owner, agent or contractor, shall begin or proceed to make any such sidewalk in any street of the City, either by himself or by private or public contract or agreement, until he has first obtained a permit from the Director of Public Service to do so. Hereafter such sidewalk shall be made and constructed under the supervision and control of and to the satisfaction and approval of the Director or the City Engineer. No person shall be required to pay the cost and expense of making and constructing such sidewalk until the same shall be accepted and approved in writing by the Director or the Engineer. A fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for up to 100 lineal feet of sidewalk or twenty dollars ($20.00) for those in excess of 100 lineal feet shall be paid for such permit to the Director per building lot; and by him deposited with the Auditor to the credit of the General Fund.
