759.05 PROHIBITED PURCHASES; FALSE INFORMATION.

(a) Every dealer shall report immediately to the police any article which is offered for sale to him, or which he does purchase if he has reasonable suspicion that the article is lost or stolen.

(b) A dealer may not purchase any article from any person under eighteen years of age, or from any person he knows to be a thief or associate of a thief or receiver of stolen property.

(c) No person shall use or provide a fictitious or false name or address, or other false or fictitious information, when selling or exchanging any article with a secondhand dealer.
