745.05 DISPLAY OF LICENSE; SUSPENSION OF LICENSE.

   Each person shall display the license conspicuously while engaging in peddling or soliciting in the City and shall exhibit it to any resident or any City official upon while peddling, soliciting and canvassing for profit as evidence of compliance with all requirements of this article.

   (a)   Such license may be suspended indefinitely by the Police Department, the Director of Public Safety or the Mayor if it is found that the application contains any false statement or upon complaint by anyone that such licensee has engaged in high pressure sales techniques, used improper language, failed or refused to leave any premises upon order or has violated any law of the City, State or of the United States.

   (b)   Written notice shall be given in person or by certified mail immediately upon suspension or revocation of license.
