545.02 IMPERSONATING AN OFFICER.
   (a)    No person, not a member of the Police or Fire Departments, a legally elected public official or commissioned by the legal authority, shall falsely represent himself to be a police officer, a member of the Fire Department, a sheriff or constable, a Mayor or a publicly elected or appointed City official, or being any person not a member of the Police Department, Fire Department or an elected or appointed public official, for the purpose of such false representation, wear any badge, symbol, uniform or part thereof similar to that of the Police or Fire Departments, or present an identification card or other printed device or token which falsely represents membership or employment as a fireman, policeman or an elected or appointed public official.
   (b)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of impersonating an officer, a misdemeanor of the first degree. (Also see Section 503.07)
