529.19 PERMITTING PROSTITUTION.

   (a)    No person, being the owner or operator or person in charge of any real property, including a motel, hotel, rooming house, or apartment shall knowingly permit such real property to be rented, leased, occupied or used by any person for the engaging in sexual activity for hire or for soliciting or sexual activity for hire

   (b)    No person shall knowingly obtain the use of real property, including a motel room, hotel room, private home, rooming house or apartment for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity for hire or soliciting of sexual activity for hire; or after having lawfully obtained the use of the real property knowingly permits prostitution or sexual activity for hire or soliciting of sexual activity for hire; or permits another the use of the premises for prostitution or sexual activity for hire or for soliciting of sexual activity for hire.

   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
