517.22 FAILURE OF OWNER TO COMPLY.

   Upon failure of any owner, lessee, agent or tenant having charge of the lots and lands under the provisions of Sections 517.20 and 517.21 to comply with the notice within the period of time stipulated under the provisions of Section 517.21, the Director of Public Service shall cause such weeds to be cut or destroyed by the direct employment of labor or authorize some person to cut the weeds on behalf of the City.
