503.08 INTERFERENCE WITH A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION.
   (a)    No person shall interfere with a criminal investigation conducted by a duly authorized law enforcement officer, nor interfere with the service of warrants or subpoenas by:
      (1)    Willfully refusing to provide his name, address or date of birth;
      (2)    Knowingly giving or assist in giving any false or fictitious information relative to the name, address or whereabouts of any person;
      (3)    Willfully refusing to provide information relative to the name, address or whereabouts of any person.
   (b)    As used in this section, "criminal investigation" includes any inquiry conducted for the purpose of determining, based upon probable cause, whether a criminal offense has been committed or is about to be committed, or for the purpose of apprehending or leading to the apprehension of a criminal offender.
   (c)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of interference with law enforcement procedures, a misdemeanor of the second degree.
