351.10 PARKING FOR FUNERAL SERVICES.
   (a)    No person shall park or stand any vehicle in front of any church, funeral home, residence or other building where and during the time a funeral is being conducted therein, or for a period of one hour before such funeral services are to begin; provided standards or signs are placed on the sidewalk or curb indicating the space to be kept free from parking. The location and extent of such space shall be fixed by a police officer detailed for such purposes. It shall be the duty of the funeral director in charge to furnish the necessary standards or signs to be used, which standards or signs shall meet with the approval of the Director of Public Safety. However, the hearse and such necessary vehicles for the conveyance of the family, relatives and friends of the deceased, as designated by the funeral director in charge, may park in such space during such funeral service.

   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
