The City Sexton shall, when reasonably required, dig the grave for the burial of any deceased person and shall attend at the funeral of every such person, closing the grave in a proper manner. He shall have the sole power to disinter and remove bodies heretofore buried in the cemeteries over which Council or other authorities of the City have jurisdiction.
