§ 154.012 SAME; DUTY TO FURNISH LIST OF POLES TO CITY.
   It shall be the duty of all telegraph, telephone, and other corporations, firms, and individuals owning or using poles in the streets, sidewalks, or public places of the city, which are not assessed with, nor pay taxes for municipal purposes, to furnish to the Common Council not later than June 1 in each year, a correct list of the number of poles owned or used by them on that day within the limits of the city for the support of their wires, but such list shall not be conclusive upon the city as to the number so owned or used by such corporations, firms, or individuals, and every such corporation, firm, or individual hereby required to furnish such list who shall fail to do so or knowingly furnish a false or incorrect list of the number of poles owned or used by it or him or her on the public grounds of the city shall be subject to prosecution for violation of this section.
