   The Charter codified herein is the most recent version of the Charter of Weston, being that edition passed January 1, 2002. There exists a prior version of the Charter, being that edition passed February 20, 1913, upon which several provisions of this code of ordinances is based. Where this code of ordinances cites and/or makes reference to the Charter, the cite and/or reference may refer to that prior version of the Charter. These prior references are currently being revised, to be updated at a later date. Where any provisions of the prior Charter, dated February 20, 1913, conflict or contradict with the provisions of this Charter, dated January 1, 2022, and/or this code of ordinances, the more recent provisions shall prevail.
