(A) Whenever any trailer or mobile home is occupied as a dwelling, or used for sleeping or other residential purposes and has been rendered immobile by the removal of wheels or other transporting device, a permit to do so must be obtained from the Building Official of the city as required for the construction of a new building.
(B) Any such alteration shall be construed as converting the trailer or mobile home into a building and subject to the requirements of the zoning and building ordinances relating to construction, wiring, plumbing, sewer facilities, and other regulations applicable to single-family dwellings.
