The following streets and alleys and all lots abutting thereon in the city are hereby designated as the “fire limits” of the city, that is to say, beginning at the intersection of South Center Avenue and Main Avenue west to the West Fork River, thence following the West Fork River to East Sixth Street, thence east to Court Avenue, thence south to the intersection of South Court Avenue and First Street, thence west to the intersection of First Street and Main Avenue, thence south to the intersection of Main Avenue and South Center Avenue, and all alleys between streets mentioned within such “fire limits”, or within the territory enclosed in such “fire limits”.
