(1) The location of the two-hour parking zones will be on certain areas of Main Street that the City Council, through its various departments, deems appropriate for two-hour parking zones to be established on Main Street.
(2) The city, through City Council and its various departments, will establish two-hour parking zones for handicapped parking on Main Street.
(3) The two-hour parking zones will be identified by signs that are readily visible and clearly marked as two-hour parking zones.
(4) The city, through its Police Department or other designated persons/entities, shall enforce this section.
(5) (a) Pursuant to § 72.99(D), penalties for violating this section shall be:
1. For first violation: $10;
2. For second violation: $20;
3. For third or more violations: $40; or
3. Other amount deemed appropriate by the Municipal Court.
(B) Penalty payment. Payment of any fines, fees, forfeitures, or other penalties related to this section shall be made in a manner consistent with § 72.99(D), or any replacement of § 72.99(D). The offender shall have 30 days to pay any fines, fees, forfeitures, or other penalties resulting from said violation. If an alleged offender does not pay any fees, fines, forfeitures, or other penalties stemming from the violation of this section, then the city may institute available legal proceedings against alleged offender.
