Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined no less seventy five dollars ($75.00) or such sum as determined by the Hearing Officer or the court but not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each petty offense and such amount for misdemeanors as set forth in Section 1-4-1 of this Code and all of the Village's cost of prosecution including reasonable attorney fees. The cost for impoundment of any animal in addition to the fine assessed shall be not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00). (Ord. 2021-10, 4-19-2021)
