§ 33.72 DIVISION OF CODE ENFORCEMENT.
   The Director of Planning and Community Development shall direct and supervise a Division of Code Enforcement, to be administered by a Chief Code Enforcement Officer. The Division of Code Enforcement may consist of other code enforcement officers appointed or assigned to serve under the direct supervision of the Chief Code Enforcement Officer. The Chief Code Enforcement Officer and those officers assigned under his/her direction shall perform the following duties:
   (A)   Investigate violations, complaints of violations and enforce the provisions of those laws, ordinances and resolutions conferred upon them by the Ohio Revised Code, the Ohio Administrative Code, the City Charter, and the City Manager, which shall include but not be limited to the Property Maintenance Code, the Zoning Code, the Sign Code, and the Public Works Code.
   (B)   Perform such other duties pertaining to code enforcement as the City Manager or the Director of Planning and Community Development may prescribe.
