§ 136.01 DISCHARGING FIREARMS.
   (A) All persons not authorized by law are strictly prohibited from discharging firearms within the city limits unless permission is first obtained from the Police Chief and the firearm is discharged under his supervision or under the supervision of his authorized representative.
   (B) "FIREARMS" shall include any pellet-propelling weapon such as B.B. guns, pellet guns, or other types of air guns.
   (C) Pursuant to the provisions of KRS 435.220, permission is hereby granted any person regularly engaged in the repair of firearms within the city necessitating testing thereof, to discharge the same within the city limits, provided that before so doing such person shall provide adequate safeguards and a fully protected firing range, and provided further that noting herein shall relieved such person from any liability other than as provided by KRS 435.220.

§ 136.99 PENALTY.
   (A) Any person violating § 136.01 shall have their weapon confiscated or be subject to confiscation and fined not less than $10 nor more than $20.
