§ 905.07 DUTY OF OWNER TO KEEP SIDEWALKS IN GOOD REPAIR.
   It shall be the absolute responsibility, duty and obligation of the owner of property abutting on any street to keep the sidewalk adjacent thereto in good order and repair. If any person shall sustain any injury to his person or property by reason of any such sidewalk being out of repair and shall recover damages therefor in any action against the city, such property owner abutting along the sidewalk which is not in good order and repair shall be held liable to the city and shall save harmless the city for the amount of such recovery and the cost to it of defending such action.
