§ 113.02 PROHIBITED CONDUCT.
   (A)   No Mayor, Council Member or city employee shall, directly or indirectly, engage in the following conduct at the municipal building, on any city-owned property, in any city-owned vehicle or while wearing a city uniform:
      (1)   Wear any political buttons or stickers of any kind or nature;
      (2)   Engage in any political activity or campaigning;
      (3)   Solicit or seek any assessment or contribution for any political candidate or committee;
      (4)   Use any official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the nomination, election or defeat of any political candidate; or
      (5)   Coerce or command anyone to pay, lend or contribute anything of value to a political candidate or committee.
   (B)   These provisions do not prohibit the Mayor, Council Members or city employees from campaigning for or against any county or municipal ordinance or resolution, or any state, county or local levy, issue, referendum, ballot initiative, charter amendment or constitutional amendment.
