§ 73.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   (1)   Any person found to have violated any provision of § 73.02 of this chapter shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $2,500 for each violation.
      (2)   Any person found to have violated any provision of § 73.03 of this chapter shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined an amount not to exceed $10 for each violation, and the court may order the bicycle seized or may order the defendant to repair the same so that the bicycle will comply with all regulations regarding equipment set out in this chapter.

   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating the terms of §§ 73.15 et seq. of this chapter commits a Class C infraction and shall be fined in the amount of not less than $1 and not more than $2,500, and each such violation shall be and constitute a separate offense.    (C)   Any person violating any provisions of § 73.25 shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 and not more than $100 per violation, and in addition, the bicycle, skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates, coaster or non-motorized scooter involved in the violation shall be impounded by the Waterloo Police Department for a period as determined by the Waterloo Police Department but in no event for more than 30 days.
