(A) Every bicycle operated upon the bikeway shall be equipped with a brake which will enable the operator to make the braked wheels skid on dry, level, clean pavement.
(B) Every bicycle operated upon the bikeway from one-half hour after sunset until one-half hour before sunrise, shall be equipped with a lamp on the front exhibiting a white light visible from a distance of at least 500 feet to the front and with a lamp on the rear exhibiting a red light visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear; except that a red reflector meeting the requirements of state law may be used in lieu of a rear light.
(C) A person propelling a bicycle on the bikeway shall not ride other than upon the permanent and regular seat attached thereto nor carry any other person upon such bicycle otherwise than upon a firmly attached and regular seat thereon, nor shall any person ride upon a bicycle otherwise than as above stated.
(D) Any person upon any bicycle coaster, roller skates, or toy vehicle shall not attach the same or himself to any other vehicle upon the bikeway.
(E) No person riding a bicycle upon the bikeway shall carry any package, bundle, or article which prevents the rider from keeping both hands upon the handlebars.
