7-7-4: LIBRARY ACCOUNT:
All money appropriated by the city council from the general fund for the operation and maintenance of the library shall be set aside in an account for the library. Expenditures from the appropriated funds shall only be disbursed upon order of the board, signed by its director or designee. The warrant writing officer is the city clerk. The city council has no authority to approve or disapprove expenditures for the library when they are made within the appropriation. (Ord. 2739, 5-27-1975; amd. Ord. 3422, 2-24-1986)
